In 2019, the largest earthquake to hit California in over two decades caused major damage to the town of Trona. Under a County of San Bernardino emergency contract, Downstream Services inspected 22,000 ft of sewer pipelines for damage.

Each video was evaluated for offset joints, deformations, collapsed pipes, cracks, and holes that needed immediate attention. Downstream crews then performed pipeline cleaning, pumping, hauling and trenchless rehabilitation.
